Drugs in "Wrestling": Is it a problem?

With the use of HGH and other performance enhancing drugs making headline news in MLB, much less attention is being paid by the average sports fan to its use in the world of sports entertainment, wrestling.  The use of these drugs has been pushed much more to the forefront, however, with the horrific events that took place this summer in which Chris Benoit killed his wife, child and himself.  The use of performance enhancing drugs, as well as other drugs such as alcohol and pain killers, are deeply rooted in the history of wrestling.  In a sports entertainment world where being larger then life is what sells, many wrestlers need help getting ahead, and turn to performance enhancing drugs.  That said, the government is now beginning to look into doctors providing prescriptions for these drugs, and looking to clamp down.  Mike Fish of ESPN.com writes about the doctor who wrote multiple prescriptions for Chris Benoit as well as other wrestlers.
