November 3rd Super Middleweight Unification bout.

On Saturday November 3 Joe Calzaghe and Mikkel Kessler will be meeting to unify the Super Middleweight titles.

For boxing, this is yet another opportunity to stir interest and re-capture fans that may be jumping ship to MMA.  Boxing experts, such as Bert Sugar, believe the fight has an opportunity to be fight of the year.  HBO is opting to show the fight live at 9 PM EST on there regular HBO station as opposed to on PPV.  By not showing the fight on PPV, HBO has an opportunity to gain a larger audience and advertise their PPV featuring Shane Mosley and Miguel Cotto.  For Bert Sugar's take, check out this video on ESPN.
