Dallas Digs for Support from Banking Industry

cowboys1.jpgThe Dallas Cowboys have never been known as an organization to be shy or bashful. That was why during this economic time, team owner and CEO Jerry Jones is out looking for a $350 million loan from several banks to help fund the new spectacle that will be Dallas Stadium. The Sports Business Journal is reporting that the Cowboys organization, Jerry Jones, and Bank of America are currently talking with other large investment banks during the last week of October.  The Cowboys are looking to borrow the large sum of money needed by the first of December.

As everyone knows by the now the economy and credit market sucks right now. Jerry Jones is the only sports executive that is currently looking for such a large loan to be given. It is a very gutsy request as not too many banks are going to want to loan millions of dollars during this time. The banking industry is just sitting back and watching this request play out, to see if any bank goes for it. There is no doubt that the Cowboys are in need of some money to help support the astonishing new Dallas Stadium that Jerry Jones has planned. Maybe America's team will have some luck finding some American money to help finish the job and get the new stadium built. Good luck with that one Jerry Jones.
