Facebook..Useful in Sports?

Facebook has become an increasingly popular social networking tool. It allows everyone to connect from anywhere around the world. Recently it has been moving into a more popular spotlight, and has began to grow even more frequently. Now many business are using Facebook, to promote themselves and also watch over the employees and applicants. Facebook is starting to become present in the sports industry. It ranges from teams and companies having their own accounts, and groups, to specific teams having fan support groups to help promote them. Their are so many applications that are available on Facebook, and it would seem completely reasonable for the sports industry to grow heavily on Facebook. Being on such a popular networking site would allows fans all across the country to support the team they like. Teams would be able expand their fan base, but also it would allow for promotion of products throughout the country. The sports industry has always been very up to date, and adapted well to the present time, and i think that facebook is just the next step in this continuing process.
