Google Data
Google has come to a multi million dollar agreement with LLC stats. Google will have real-time live feed of scores. The deal is a big step, even though the deal is limited to only scores, standings and team schedules. 
"We've been working on this, literally, for a few years, but it's really important for us in terms of becoming a truly global player," said Greg Kirkorsky, Stats senior vice president of sales. "This isn't a traditional portal deal where somebody like a Yahoo! or an AOL is using this type of data to help build out a sports channel. This is about simply connecting people with information."(SBJ). This "simply" connection is a huge step for google, and they are hoping for many more giant leaps to come.
