Arm Injuries Still Plague Major League Pitchers

With the signing of pitchers to multi-year lucrative contracts, some general managers are still ignoring the fact that some of these top-priced pitchers can't keep their arm healthy enough to last a whole major league season.  Starters and relievers alike, it seems as though during the baseball season there isn't a day that goes by without somebody going on the 15-day DL, 60-day DL or even put on the inactive list due to an arm or elbow injury.  With all of the complex treatments out there, the issues of arm troubles still remain.  This can be due to any number of reasons ranging from improper warm up routines, overwork, under work and even accidents while not on the playing field.  One technology that has come out in recent years to help curb these injuries from happening so often is The Heater Pitching Sleeve.  Developed for both baseball and softball players, the main focus of The Heater is to keep a pitchers arm warm while not on the field.

The Heater pitching sleeve can be warmed up and waiting for the pitcher in the dugout or bullpen upon finishing an inning on the mound or a warm-up in preparation for an outing.  The target 120°F temperature will instantly begin to expand and loosen muscles and soft tissue groups in the major throwing regions.  The Heater has one easy-click strap to hold the unit snugly in place when worn. It can be worn on either the left or right arm, and the strap can be adjusted to accommodate your body size. The Heater is can be easily put on and taken off with one hand.  When fully charged, each Lithium Ion system will power the sleeve for over 3 hours at a time and used at the highest heat setting (target 120°F). A full recharge of the power source takes a little more than 4 hours, but an 80% charge can be achieved in just the first hour of that time frame.  While not all pitching injuries can be prevented, there are certainly things that can help reduce the chance of injury.  The use of The Heater, along with other forms of treatment, can extend a pitcher career and help him reach his own personal milestones.
