Giants end Purress Season

The previous friday in a New York night club, Plaxico Burress shot himself on accident in the leg with a gun. Then giants put their star wide reciever who led them to a superbowl win on the reserve non-football injury list for conduct detrimental to the team, this also means he wont be back for the playoffs or the superbowl. This is a huge blow to the team, althought they still have been winning without him, and they proved last year they can win without a star missing in the lineup (shockey).

I feel that this action that was done by the Giants was alittle over the top. The Giants are known for not dealing with these type of tactics, but this is a player who has won them a superbowl and has them at a record of 11-1 right now. Hopefully things can be worked out during the offseason and Burress will be back next year.
