Ticket Prices on the move....again
The San Francisco Giants and a new software company have signed a deal making it possible for the franchise to change single game ticket prices at anytime. The company QCue will try and help the Giants sell 2,000 upper leave and bleacher seats. Because the contract is still under negotiation the detail have yet to be disclosed.
The Giants sell the upper deck and bleacher seating last, QCue will adjust the prices of these seats to try and sell them out. QCue is a one-year old company who connects with Tickets.com. Tickets.com is the Giants ticket agent. The Giants will have the option of changing the ticket price once a day on game day. The change will only be twenty-five cents to a dollar. The change is small but the Giants have to keep it that why so the season ticket holders are still getting a good deal.

This is a great idea, that should be taken up by any team who doesn't sell out a regular basis. They can lower ticket prices when they know they aren't going to sell a seat and give a family who otherwise may have been unable to afford tickets the opportunity to attend the game, plus the team still brings in some money for the ticket instead of leaving the seat empty and getting nothing in return.
