I love the Slingbox. I've been looking for a way to stream my own TV media to me anywhere, and the fine folks at Slingbox have really put together several nice products. Tether your cell phone's 3G data connection to your laptop and you've got TV anywhere. I think it's just a matter of seconds before some auto manufacturer figures this out and starts building the whole shebang into mom's minivan. Just be careful where you watch. Those roaming charges will kill ya.

The folks at the Sun Times get involved and have the charges reduced to a more reasonable $290.65.
