Yankee Stadium.jpgThe world of sports has become the site of the newest and most innovative technologies created.  Every new stadium that is constructed is filled with state of the art equipment that is a step above all other stadiums.  Technology giant Cisco Systems has teamed up with the New York Yankees to assure that the new Yankee Stadium, is the most fan friendly technologically advanced stadium in all of sports.  The main focus point of the partnership is the creation and implementation of "Cisco StadiumVision".

StadiumVision includes a 103' x 58' 1080p display. This acts as the main scoreboard for the new stadium. Along with this enormous screen are 1,100 HD Monitors throughout the stadium that are linked to display anything from traffic delays, emergency exits, starting lineups or live game action. This makes navigating in and around the stadium a breeze as you will never be out of the loop. There will also be Internet/Protocol Touch Screen Phones inside all the luxury sweets to control these monitors as well as order food or setup video conferencing. Cisco is also doing major enhancements on the Yankees' internet connections in there offices as well as installing touch screen PCs in every home locker. This entire network plus equipment is expected to cost the New York Yankees between 15 and 16 million dollars.
