Denver Nuggets: Data Gold Mining

The Denver Nuggets (an NBA basketball team from Denver) now have a plan in which should eventually sell more season tickets for them. They are going to be looking at the demographics of what type of households are currently buying season tickets, they will then send out a postcard and if the postcard is returned they will be entered into a sweepstakes. They will also give them the option to be put onto a e-mail where they will receive notifications about the team. This technique looks to be very promising for the nuggets, they are expecting to make just over 350 thousand off of this sales technique. I feel that this will end up being just as successful as they are projecting and is a very initiative idea.
