Cascade has released a new ice hockey helmet designed to prevent concussions and protect against catastrophic hits. Cascade has dominated the lacrosse helmet market for years now, and this is the first attempt at entering the ice hockey market. With concussions at an all-time high in sports, now is not a bad time for Cascade to widen its product line.

There is a new SEVEN technology, which is supposed to provide the protection of two helmets in one. There are small, cylindrical cells in the helmet set to absorb any contact through lateral displacement, and it also limits the amount of G-Forces sent to the brain from a hit. The helmet is divided into three parts; the brow, the shell, and the back. Each can be custom fit without the use of any tools, and each can also be their own color.
